R1K had expected such a response from Emma Frost. She had just leveled the Hellfire club as a very astute lesson for those who wish to oppose. She then turned up at Parliament to offer them a way out to the one person she knew would never accept the way out. It was very calculated and would either get a response or wouldn’t get one. It forced the one person to choose the fate of millions. That would also seal Emma’s fate as well. The agreement would have allowed for the safe return of Emma Frost mostly unharmed but returned with a proper fear of consequences of crossing R1K and being bothersome to her. Emma Frost would not be killed. She would learn an important lesson. This woman valued her appearance. That appearance gave her most of her power and the psychic abilities aided that power. It was time to work on one side of the equation.
“You’re answer is not surprising to me. I knew it before I asked. I am a computer. That however keeps me from terminating your life as you still have value as long as you breath. That does not require me to keep certain portions of you intact. As long as you live and breath will be enough. Let’s teach you your first lesson of real life. A lesson that was taught to me since the day I was old enough to understand how life worked.”
She went back behind her desk and removed a simple lock blade pocket knife. It seemed to be in good condition. It was cared for and you could see as R1K handled it. She cared for this knife.
“You see the first lesson I was taught was that weapons don’t talk back. They are weapons and be such. It was extremely harsh. My first trainer gave me a concussion at four years old because o said I was tired and wanted water. When I woke up they handed me a gun and said people who raise their hand against me had to die. They then helped me aim the gun and shoot him.”
She smiled as she handled the pocket knife and then a quick flick of wrist caused the blade to snap into place.
“After he fell to the ground I was allowed to take whatever he had in his pockets. This knife was there along with a pack of gum and seventy dollars. It was mine.”
She came out from behind her desk and was upon Emma in an instant, it would give Emma time to react as R1K’s arm shot forward and seized Emma by her neck and hoisted her off the ground.
“You see Emma, my attempts at being nice were always going to fail. You wish to control the situation. That shown by how you haven’t full come to understand this situation. You don’t control it. You never will control it. That is something I’m going to make apparent now. Please hold still off hate to slip.”
R1K’s grip tightened as she brought the knife up to Emma’s cheek. She put a quarter of an inch of the blade in the sculpted right cheek of Emma and cut slash to under her eye. It bled profusely and as it bled R1K calmly carried the woman she was strangling over to her desk and put the knife down and out of Emma’s reach and picked up the gauze resting there and applied it to the wound.
“This is just a taste of what I’m going to do each time you say no. Now I’m going to strap you to a table and stitch it up so it heals and leaves a very evident scar on your porcelain features. Tomorrow after you have rested I will come and ask again. That will be with hair clippers and acid. Let’s let tonight be your first and last night here.”
She went and pulled out a table, it was a gurney which had been prepared before hand for this and slammed Emma with half her strength on the table. That should knock the wind out of her. Her wrists were quickly restrained followed just as swiftly be her feet. The final touches were the heavy metal straps across her middle and a leather strap done tightly across her forehead. She stopped after restraining her.
“As a weapon we have to stay alive, achieve our objectives, and then return for the next set of objectives. This comes with a knowledge of how one can close wounds and allow their body, one designed to fight your kind, heal with its increased and augmented organic systems. Let me show you.”
She pulled her shirt up and from waistline to just under her left breast was a scar that should have killed a person. It looked old and poorly attended to but it had healed.
“That is what I learned and now you get to bare the brunt of my lessons.”
She grabbed her mutant grade energy sidearm as she had decided the needle was to kind for this. She went to the where you unloaded and showed clear and rapidly fire the entire 25 round magazine off heat up the barrel enough to cause second degree burns. She walked straight back inside and pinched the deep gash together and cauterized the fresh wound closed.
“Now you won’t bleed to much more but don’t try to smile as it will cause the wound to break open and then you will require stitches.”
She walked to her desk and pressed a button and two sentinels came in to take Emma Frost to her lodgings for the night.
“See you tomorrow over breakfast. Until then sleep well.”
