Matt chuckled "I'd love to do it again sometime. I'm surprised you're actually dancing with me, too. Your brother has made it his mission to keep you and me apart." he gave a sly wink before gently pushing her closer to his body "How's your dreams doing, by the way? are they getting any better? You have seemed to be two different people at times."

Dee gave a slight sigh of relief when Charis agreed not to go in. She didn't want to think about what those two would be doing in there. She gave a shudder. Sure, she knew about all the romantic things such as kissing, holding hands, and being naked. It was really something that she didn't desire herself as she just wanted more friends to hang around with.
Dee slid back a little as Charis danced on the table. She raised an eye brow as she was not sure what to do. She crossed her arms over her chest as she sighed. "Well there is a dance floor. I think that will be less noticeable. After all, you want to blend in while spying." ~*~*~
Krys softly laughed a little at the mention of her past being happier than his. She doubted as she started to sway with the music. She closed her eyes as felt the rhythm while she recalled meeting Cate. "Well it was nothing special. After all, we were both staying at the same ski lodge. It was a strange moment when I saw someone who looked exactly like me. It threw me for a loop as my powers got a little out of control. I like to think that even if I lost some friends, I gained a sister."
She left out the part where they were attacked. It was something that she often didn't want to think about. Her body gave an involuntary shudder at the thought. She knew that her sister was still grieving for the loss of her boyfriend. She didn't mind the space they had at the moment.
She smiled at Tav, "Your turn to share. What has made you start your own business?"

Charis looked down at Dee and saw her upset and even though she was tipsy got down and back into the seats near her friend. "I'm sorry Dee...I am just a bit tipsy. I will be calm now, Don't be mad, I'll do better from now on." She smiled to her friend.
She then got focused once again...

Jeff wasn't sure why he had taken a liking to Hope. He couldn't place it but she sure had an effect on him that he hadn't thought possible for him again. When she kissed him he stiffened slightly at it but relaxed when he was embraced and reciprocated the kiss and embrace. He felt this was right and he wouldn't question it. He let it go on for a little longer than he should and slowly pulled back.
"Hope, I will have a problem when you go. I won't have anyone to watch me fall when I surf. That and well I will miss you. As much as I thought you'd be around a lot more I understand the need for it. I think I do anyways."
He smiled at he as he held her.

Relina was more than excited when she kissed Fred. She was after this man and wanted him more than she had wanted any other man she had ever been with. The question she was afraid to ask herself and knew the answer to was one that she avoided like it held death for her.
"I'm the lucky one...I get a gentleman who sees me. He doesn't see this."
She motioned to her face and body.
She took the next shot with him and smiled as the both slammed their glasses down and laughed. When he proclaimed his love for her she looked at him. Green eyes regarding him carefully and with an analytical prowess that earned her the job she currently occupied. When he started to back track she put a finger to his mouth.
"You mean it. I know you do. I can say that I love you to. I don't know what about you has caused it but it is you and all of you. Let's have fun since we have to listen to whatever this music is and then after we leave. WE are going to have a good time. Let's get Skye and John to join us at my place tonight. What do you say?"
She smiled as she signaled the waitress again. She wasn't going to let her get to far away. They came over and she decided they were going to do the four horseman.
"Four Horseman for the whole table. Plus let's make it three flights in all. Plus..."
She put the money on her tray and nodded to the woman.
"Keep the change."
She had put a full five twenties on the tray. The waitress walked off briskly and Relina returned her attention to Fred.
"Just so you know I'm going to ask you to take me drunk I'm home."
She laughed.

Rhona was excited for the real date that she was having with Todd. She had never been on one to her recollection and now she was here with him. It wasn't one of those go back to his place like the first time and sleep with him. She did like that aspect of the dating ritual but this was more like it and she got to wear a very cute outfit.
"Yay! The best night every!"
She kissed him back a bit more forcefully than she probably should have and when he said he was going visit. That made her very happy indeed. She wanted him to come along but she wasn't sure if that would be allowed. That kind of made her sad but she didn't really mind it was for her improvement and that meant when she returned she would be better off and able to function better on her own.
"I'm going to hold you to that. I want you to visit if you can and not worry about it. I understand they have this video thing where I can see you when I am away. Let's dance a bit and drink. Then you can take me back to your house and help me out of this dress. What do you say?"
She gave him a smile that was all teeth and caused one of the people looking their direction to back up.

Logan found himself actually captivated by Angie in a way he didn't think he would have been. She was sweet, carried herself well in a fight, and most of all was very straight forward. She shared points of her life that most wouldn't have with him without coercion and it was refreshing overall.
"I can understand that about a loved one passing. It would be easier to look at what they would have been like if they were still alive. It's never an easy thing to lose someone you love. I guess having two sets of memories is the same thing."
This must be a woman after his own heart when she said as long as dinner came with a beer. He couldn't argue that, he liked her style and he knew a place that served beer with their food. It was what some could call a dive but it wasn't because those that called it that weren't the normal crowd that came it.
"I know a place like that and it also serves regular burgers and more fancy food for those looking for something a bit higher up in expectations. It is a bit more a drive but the food is worth it. After all I am your tour guide tonight and I shall be giving a good tour. How about food first then ice skating?"
He hoped she liked that idea.

Aaron liked Wanda and she probably already knew that. He didn't mind that she liked them being alone. He preferred it as well. It wasn't hard to get to know Aaron if you took the time to get to know him. He wasn't a bad person just he didn't like people to much when they were trying to make him do something he didn't want to do.
"When two people get to talk without everyone else to interrupt they actually to get to discover things about the other person that you usually don't get to know in a crowd of people."
The bus was a pit and cesspool. He wouldn't have consigned anyone to a fate worse than death of riding the bus. He was more than happy to take her places. He got to drive and she didn't complain about his speed.
"Plus you get to where you need to be earlier than anticipated and in one piece. Which is a major bonus. Plus my car doesn't smell like urine either."
He chuckled as he remember the last time he took a bus. Well he had stolen that bus but it was the same.
"They projec the art on the walls from hidden digital projectors and you get to discuss the pieces with other people. Plus they have people circulating drinks and food all night. I found it accidentally and well I find it a relaxing way to spend a night when I want to learn something new."
He liked the place and found that classic art was like a car. The more you knew about it the better you appreciated it.

Dee shrugged as she took another sip. Mad was something that she rarely ever was. She maybe was slightly annoyed. She knew that a lot of alcohol can impede one's judgement. She often didn't drink however tonight was all about blending in. She twitched her nose as she replied back. "I'm not mad, just don't want us to get caught too soon. Plus I can teach you want I know."
She smiled as she stood up. "The dancing was a great idea. Let's just do it on the dance floor. I doubt he would notice if we are surrounded by a group of people doing the same thing. Come on!"
She stood up as she tilted her head to the dance floor. It was her way of patching things up. ~*~*~
Angie smiled as their hands were kept gently entwined on her lap. The strange thing is that it felt natural. There was a level of understanding between them which rarely happened. She was happy that she was forced to come along to the States. It felt refreshing as they talked about her father not being around as he didn't pity her. Normally when she brings up being an orphan of sorts, people said they were sorry and other such nonsense. She was a grown woman who made her way through medical school. If anything, she was stronger for it.
"You and I are a bit alike in that regard. It is nice to hear that kind of understanding. Most just look at you one way and not the whole. I am sure in time, with help, you will be able to sort everything out with your memories."
She gave his hand a little squeeze as she looked out the side window. It was nice to spend this one on one time. She had gotten to know many of the others, yet Logan remained much of a mystery. She got the feeling that he was looking for companionship just as she was. At the mention with the change of plans, she turned back towards him.
"Burgers and beer sound fabulous. I am not overly into the fancy menus. Saving money has been the name of the game for a long time. Though if a world class chef ever put something down in front of me, I would dive right in. Some of the complexity would be lost on me. Maybe after working off some of dinner, we could find a small cafe for dessert?" She took in a deep breath, "Thank you for playing tour guide. I would gladly repay the favor should you find yourself in my neck of the woods." ~*~*~
Wanda chuckled at the comment about the bus. It was pretty much spot on. She rarely wore anything too fancy when riding. It could be a toss up on what stains actually are. She hated that guessing game for many reasons.
"Good points with the bus. I hate playing the guessing game of which stain looks less questionable. Call me crazy, it is why I have a few older towels that i carry with me while I ride."
She leaned back as she listened to the explanation. She couldn't think of a better way to spend the evening. She would have to pay his twin back a little for the joke. It did make her question what the true intention was behind all of this scheming.
"Sounds actually nice. It is something that we can do again if the evening is all you claim." She gave him a wink of her eye. "Tonight we will both get a bit of an education. I am rather curious about the different techniques used by other artists."

Charis looked up at her, "You'll teach me? Oh wow, Alright! I promise to be the best student you ever had."
She noticed what Dee was doing and smiled as she got up and walked onto the floor and waited for her best friend. 'Let's see if I remember how to dance' She thought as she just kept her smile forward right at Dee.
