Trauma Surgeon/Emergency Medicine – can operate on injuries related to ‘penetrating trauma’—which usually means stabbings and gunshot wounds. But they also care for serious ‘blunt force injuries’ such as motor vehicle accidents.
Family Practice - a combination of Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and Ob/Gyn. They are primary care physicians for children and adults, perform well-woman exams and sometimes even deliver babies.
Bedside Manner – Leslie has an outstanding bedside manner that allows him to empathize while still performing his job as a doctor especially in the ER. He is compassionate and caring and it puts his patients at ease.
Cool Under Pressure – Leslie is cool under pressure. This comes from being a one of the Doctors Without Borders, in Syria, Africa, and other countries where they needed doctors.
Mutation/Powers: N/A
Undiscovered Abilities: N/A
Weakness:
Committed – This can be a weakness when applied to the field of medicine. Especially when you are trying to save someone and you just don’t know when to quit. This is applied to relationships and works against his pragmatism at most times.
Pragmatic – Leslie can be very pragmatic and this can be a detriment when it comes to saving lives. He will easily triage and move on when there are more pressing needs for both saving lives and relationships.
Tunnel Vision – there are times that Leslie is affected by tunnel vision this can really be a detriment to his helping other people. It has nearly had him get captured when he was working with Doctors Without Borders.
Horrible Cook – If there is a meal that has a recipe Leslie can ruin it quite easily. He follows all the instructions but he just can’t seem to get it come together. It is a horrible thing because the man can literally burn toast.
Residence: A single bedroom apartment he purchased in a building called The Crescent. It has a modest kitchen, a large living room, and a balcony that over looks the private grounds.

Appearance: Leslie is an impressive physical specimen, standing 6 feet 2 inches and weighing in at 185 pounds (84 kg). He has these dark blue eyes that seem gaze right into you and through you at times but become thoughtful and mirthful at a moments notice. Leslie keeps his dark brown hair either combed back or to the side dependent on the day. The biggest thing that most people don’t see is that he is quite solid and built under his clothing. This is from his healthy eating and exercise regime he has kept up since high school.
Personality: Leslie is kind of a weird guy when you first meet him. He seems like this goofy guy but pretty soon you realize that is just the way he is at times. He isn’t goofy so much as he just likes to have fun and only be serious when work is concerned. As you get into the depths of his personality you find out that he is really a caring person who would literally give you his arm if it would save your life.

History (Birthplace, Family, etc):
You wouldn’t think that the youngest of five children would be motivated to achieve much when his siblings had already shown through their motivation and drive that they could achieve and garner the attention and respect of their parents.
That is exactly what Leslie has done. His parents both officers in the United States Armed Forces met at a medical conference and the relationship, while a long distance one, continued from there. They eventually decided the next best thing was to get married and start a family. They spoke of giving up their careers as military and medical professionals but they didn’t and they made it work. It was a little tough at times with either Phillip deployed or Deanna deployed but they made it work. They both kept residences at their respective bases and always took leave together.
They had three boys and two girls who went on to achieve and gather their parents’ respect. Their last child, Leslie, seemed to be content to be the youngest and live in the shadow of his siblings. That wasn’t the case at all. He was always striving to learn more about the world and the how things worked. It at first started with machines and then progressed to animals, but not in a psychopathic way, and finally he applied to medical school. His parents who had watched one son, their oldest attend Annapolis and their youngest daughter enlist in the army and work her way through the enlisted ranks to an officer. Then their middle children become heads of Silicon Valley Tech giants and do very well for themselves. They didn’t think that their youngest son would be more than what they saw in him. A surfer who was enjoying life and when he applied to medical school they were surprised. His grades had always been good but his drive to become a medical professional actually impressed his parents. They had retired to California but when they found the acceptance letter from UCLA School of Medicine they didn’t know if he was joking. It was a scholarship and he had been working a job since he was sixteen. They realized that he had been flying under their radar so he could follow his dream of being a doctor without their influence. This impressed both Phillip and Deanna. They let him work and attend school. They made one stipulation. That he live at home and not try to handle an apartment while attending medical school.
He agreed.
He spent four years working his job and going to school. His clinical hours were grueling and he would come home so tired that he would fall into bed and wake up for work the next day and repeat for the next two years. After which he decided to work the ER in Los Angles while he decided on his focus. All the gunshot wounds and stab wounds made him decided to pursue the specialization of trauma. He did so and the next five years he learned from the trauma surgeons in the ER and it was a great learning experience. When he finished he worked for a few more years and then got it into his head he wanted to help people all over the world and applied to people who really needed the treatment. He was 28 at this point and put in an application to Medecins Sans Frontieres or Doctors Without Borders. He did this without his parents knowing and when they accepted him his parents protested. He told them he needed the world experience and this was the best way. He went off and worked in far away places like Africa, Egypt, and other places where they needed the care that they weren’t getting. He had a few close calls and when everything was done he decided to settle in England. It was far enough away that his mother and father wouldn’t try to set him with young officers they knew and worked with at their contractor jobs.
He found life to be good and with experience he was thrust back into the world of the ER. It wasn’t so bad he met plenty of good people and when other doctors wouldn’t treat mutants he stepped up and treated them. Doctors would do no harm. Doctors rendered aid to all people. He believed in this without hesitation. He knew that sometimes humanity failed people and he wouldn’t be the example that was the last thing mutants or any one ever saw.
It got to the point where an influential family practice offered him a job. He took and started to learn his way around family medicine. He was still on call at the hospital and worked the ER every other weekend. This was his life and he loved it. He had even been called to the legendary Hellfire Club on a few occasions due to the family practice he worked for having liaisons with members and he had become trusted. He found the club to be ostentatious and hedonistic. He really didn’t care for it and only went when the head of the family practice that happened to be a member there asked him. It wasn’t a bad life and he had his ER rotations to balance out the monotony of the family practice. He had settled into a nice life. As a gift he bought a nice apartment in a building called The Crescent. He likes the apartment and enjoys his life but keeps it simple.
