Viola’s purpose was two fold and at the urging of her parents. Her father was excited to have a new member in the House of Lords. He said he felt that Lady Adama was going to do great things for the kingdom and her ideas for reforms aligned with his. He wanted Viola to go and extend an invitation for Lady Adama and her friends to join them for a dinner at their manor. It wasn’t a bad idea. She had been to the manor that she stayed at and while they hadn’t extended the invitation they were getting the house ready for guests. Viola had other worries that stemmed from domestic terrorists attacking a peaceful march. She felt she needed to get her parents protection as they were the loudest advocates for mutant rights. They believed, as did she, they were to be afforded the same rights as everyone else. No registrations or limitations. So she had been sent to extend the invitation to Serina and the rest of colleagues at the Excalibur manor. She was currently on her way there now in the family car. She hated being driven places but it afforded her time to find them a bodyguard how would suit her purposes. She had reviewed all the legitimate bodyguards and found they didn’t have the skill set she needed to be wary for her parents.
She had taken to contacting more highly skilled and paid private contractors and ran across one who just may be a fit for what she wanted. She sent funds for a meeting and would have it done at her flat. She did think the contact fee of five-thousand American dollars a bit high but it was a small price she was willing to pay for her parent’s safety. That on top of their business holdings and other defense contracts actually allowed them to live comfortably and if they wished lavishly. She looked up from her laptop as the car slowed and then came to a stop.
She still had to see Emma as she had cultivated a friendship with her. Yes most people thought that ill advised but Emma was not as most made her out to be. Yes she was arrogant and loved to have her way with men but she didn’t see that as evil. Emma just wanted to have a good time and any rumors about her were just that rumors. She would call her later today to see if they could have lunch together. She exited the car and walked up and rang the bell at Excalibur Manor.

Serina was at the Excaliber manor finishing up some paperwork. She spent a lot of time there in order to do her work for the house of lords. It was a front of course as she was there to help her teammates with whatever they needed. As she finally got finished and was about to go relax she heard the doorbell ring. Even with her noble status she wasn't going to make an excuse to have someone else open the door. She wasn't expecting anyone, so she had to admit she was very confused. She walked over the door and opened it. A young lady she had never met before was at the door. She wondered if anyone else was expecting a guest. Serina smiled in a warm greeting. "Hello. " She said standing at the door. "Forgive my forwardness but I have never seen you here before. Are you here to visit someone?" her voice was calm and she hoped her tone showed it wasn't that this young lady wasn't necessarily unwelcome. Serina, as with many others, knew that one needed to be cautious.

Viola smiled as the person she had come to see answered the door. It was a warm and inviting as she listened to her greeting and inquiring about who she was and what her business was at the manor. That was a fair question to be asked. She answered in kind and didn’t expect to be invited in at all. This was mainly due to the fact she didn’t wish to see Oliver as this wasn’t a social visit.
“Lady Adama I apologize for this unsolicited visit without prior warning. I’ve been sent to extend an invitation by Lord Avery. He wishes to discuss your agenda on mutant rights and how he will lend support to this. He will also help rally that support. It is a dinner invitation and one he has extended, not only to you it also your friends. It will be held at Avery Manor. He looks forward to your response.”
She handed over the invitation which included his phone number and email. She hadn’t given her name as she didn’t think it pertinent information and also because she had other matters on her mind. Her attire would indicate she was at least part of the Lord’s staff and here on official business she also had, if asked, credentials to show Lady Adama if so requested. She felt this was a rather productive visit and waited for Serina to take the invitation.

Serina listened as the lady at the door invited her to the Avery Manor. She took the invitation into her hand and read it. She nodded and motioned the young woman to come in, though she was unsure if the young lady wanted to. "I seem to be at a disadvantage as you know my name, but I do not know yours" She said with a light chuckle in order to show that the young lady didn't need to be ashamed. "Unfortunately, before I can answer you I will need to check and see if I have any prior engagements tonight. And instead of emailing or calling I believe I can actually give you an answer right now before you leave if you do not mind waiting inside for a moment. Please feel free to do so. In fact..." Serina looked at a maid who came up to the door at Serina's motioned her to come to her. " Hailey, can you please make sure this young lady gets whatever drink or snack she would like while she waits for me to check my schedule" She made a slight head bow of respect as she said, "I will return shortly with an answer." She said as she quickly went into her office. She checked her schedule and she was in fact free tonight. She went back to her and said with a warm smile and a note for Lord Avery that she held out for Viola in turn "I am in fact free tonight. I will see how many of my friends can make it as well. Let Lord Avery know I look forward to tonight's dinner." She looked again at the time to make sure of what time she should leave in order to make sure she wasn't late to dinner. She would have to see who could join her This was a great opportunity to find ways to further rights for mutants such as herself. Not even Lord Avery knew who she truly was.

Viola hadn’t expected to been asked her name. She replied in answer to her question. She had been on TV during the match which was attacked.
“I do watch the news and not knowing who you are would either make me ignorant or just lackadaisical. I’m Viola.”
She left her polite smile in place and when invited in she nearly lost it but it remained. She stepped in as offered and when Serina summoned passing staff.
“That’s very gracious Lady Adama but I had a heavy breakfast and am still feeling it. I appreciate you offering. I’ll wait for you to return.”
She stood there quietly keeping her gaze straight ahead posting her own thoughts as the maid Hailey went to ask and Viola politely declined the offer of a light snack or something to drink.
“That’s excellent to hear and I’ll deliver your message. Please do as it wouldn’t be a gathering without people that you know and trust. After all he is, as he has stated, looking forward to meeting the new blood.”
She knew the drive into the country could take some time because of traffic and that dinner wouldn’t start until at least seven. Drinks would be served prior to that. This was also a casual engagement as the invitation stated and casual attire was the order of the night.
“Traffic should be light and it’s an hour drive, hour and a half with traffic. He looks forward to meeting and having dinner with you and your friends. Lady Adama please keep Lord Avery’s contact information. He would like that you have a way to contact him should you need anything.”
She smiled warmly as she waited for anything else Serina may ask her or to be dismissed. She really didn’t like when her father used her as a messenger. It was rather maddening but she was on leave and at home. She wouldn’t have said no but he could have sent an actual aide.

Serina couldn't help but grin at Viola's response. And when she talked about Serina being on the news and without exact words saying that she had to live under a rock not to know who she was it amused her. She in fact couldn't hold back a chuckle as well while she grinned. This girl was a little firecracker. Serina liked this, Viola. Reminded her how she used to be. "And if you change your mind let Hailey know." Serina smiled
She had the feeling there was more to her than met the eye. But in a good way. Viola defiantly had an air about her that seemed almost familiar to her. That was for sure. She nodded as she came back and was told about traffic. She knew about the manor though she had never had dinner there. Usually, such dinners were held in a public restaurant, but she enjoyed these private dinners much better. It felt less official and more intimate, which was probably the point. To truly see how to support mutants he probably wanted to get to know some of the people he would be supporting. Made complete sense. Serina nodded and said "It was a pleasure to meet you, Viola. I hope to see you at dinner tonight as well. And make sure you let Lord Avery know how much I appreciate this." She said as a dismissal for the young girl. Even as Viola was leaving she turned around. She looked to Hailey again and smiled.
" You can leave early tonight along with the rest. If all goes well no one will be having dinner here tonight. Don't worry as your pay won't be docked. I know how hard you work. You deserve a few extra hours.." She said as she went to find any Excalibur members in the building to start the ball rolling for dinner.
