He'd mainly kept his head low while in the compound as he was fairly new there and didn't want to start shit with people. but now it seemed like there were uninvited guests approaching. He asked Sky after she gave her warning, in a low voice. "Want me to go out there and scout'em?"

Skye looked to the computer and zoomed into the screen, trying to catch a glimpse of the figure that was out there. Just then, she heard a familiar voice come through the communication device on the desk "Don't worry, Mom! I've got him!" Before Skye could comprehend, she screamed into the intercom "OLIVIA?!" she yelled furiously, running her hands through her hair out of frustration. Turning back to the computer, she zoomed in closer "Him...?" she asked herself in a whisper "Olivia, back away now!" she commanded as her heart began to race "Is..." she rubbed her eyes as if she'd seen a ghost.
It was a man indeed. A tall man with reddish-blond hair, muscular and surrounded by fire. "What is the holy hell..." she whispered as her palms grew sweaty. Shaking, she turned to Ryuusei "Can you alert the team, and make sure the fences are turned up to their highest voltage?" She practically demanded of the man as she grabbed her jacket and her communicator. "Umm...and also man the weapons just in case I need it." she shivered "The man out there... he looks exactly like Pyro. With my daughter out there, I have to go... Can you please just...watch and make sure nothing stupid happens?"

He watched the monitor as Skye zoomed in on the flaming man, and quickly noted the woman's shock. She 'asked' him to contact those in the field and check on the fences' voltage level. Ryuusei responded with a "Alright."
He sat at the console and brought up the fence diagnostics first. (Looks like they're at 60% output...) And input the command to raise the voltage. Then he got on the Comm. "Hey, Ryuusei here. We need you guys to get back to base ASAP, someone who looks like Pyro just showed up at our doorstep. And from the looks of it, wants to light the place up."
He ended the call and brought up a few other camera displays...This guy had Skye pretty spooked, so they definitely didn't need any MORE surprises...

Logan looked at Angie and nodded as he scented again. This wasn’t right and something else made him hurry Angie along.
“Let’s go before this itch I am getting between my shoulders that is telling me we are being watched by someone or something.”
He didn’t want to worry anyone that’s why he said it when only Angie is present. He was glad they didn’t bring Bell along. This wouldn’t have been as fun.
“Last call Ang....let’s go.”

Bell had wondered around the compound when she watched both Olivia and then Skye. She looked over at the where they came from. There must have been something something seriously wrong. Her parents were off their own mission. She had nothing else really going on. She raced after the other two. There was something going down which she was not going to miss. ~*~*~
Angie’s eye narrowed at the words of her husband. She trusted his instincts when it came to things like this. There was something off with this place.
“That itch is not good. I know it means trouble is close. I will be quick. I don’t want to miss something important. Keep an eye on my back?”
She knew the answer before he spoke. She walked back to where they had been. She wiped her hands on her pants as she squared her shoulders. She walked towards the store. She wanted to check around the building as well. It was the one place that she thought no one had looked.

Gabriella nodded. She agreed it was now beyond time they should get going and get to safety. She'd have spoken in agreement but in reality she knew if something was watching they could hear what she said so she stayed quiet hoping that if someone was watching them they wouldn't hear her and looked around carefully. These were trying times and she had lost enough. She wanted to make sure she didn't lose anyone else...not today.

Pyro let the fire surround him. He could feel it's power around him as the fire burned around him. The smoke around him made his sight dim. But he heard through the smoke the sound of a familiar voice. A voice that he couldn't believe he was hearing. It had been so long. Could it really be her? Had she actually been looking for him? He was told she wasn't...and through all these years he was starting to believe it. But there she was. He blinked as he formed the fire around him in a way that made the scene clearer. His eyes widened as he looked at her...he barely had the breath to say her name as the breath was taken out of him in shock. "Skye....? Is it... is it really you?" He said breathlessly looking at her.

Skye almost dropped to her knees as she witnessed the man she loved seemingly brought back from the dead. "This cannot be real..." she coughed "I know my visions have gotten worse, but seriously..." she coughed again as she zipped up her suit "J-John?" she asked again.
Olivia observed the man surrounded by fire "Want me to kill him? Cuz I can..." she chuckled as she sauntered through the smoke.
Skye shot Olivia a look "You see him to?!" she gasped in shock "Holy...."
"Shit." the redhead finished for her mother
"Olivia, we'll talk about your language later. Get back inside, NOW!" she commanded, not taking her eyes off Pyro. Her heart began to race as she tried to remain on guard for both herself and her daughter

The situation was an easy one. She wanted to draw out her half sister. The easiest bait was something she wished for and wanted more than anything. That was an easy give on her part. She gave it and now she waited. She was on station seeing if she would come out for the one thing she wanted more than oxygen. She didn’t mind waiting for this it was like a soap opera. She enjoyed the idea of watching. She had been on the lookout for one that she hadn’t found yet. This would prove very informative. She waited.
“Send assets 7-15. It should gives us a show. Ensure they are heavy units. Add in a few of our more zealous assets with the heavies and let’s see the fun they have. I like a good show.”
-*-
The dropship would approach low enough and loud enough to be seen. They were meant to seen and heard. It would be swift and direct intervention. She was following the game plan she had used forever. The thing was would living people actually stay the hand of Skye. She would see soon enough.
The units landed a good mile behind John and started their advance. Orders were simple. Preserve the bait eliminate the target. Humans would go first as s test measure and Sentinels would follow second.

He watched through the monitor as Pyro was ablaze, but halted his advance when Skye approached him. As they exchanged words, Ryuusei REALLY couldn't shake the feeling that something was up. ESPECIALLY since he hadn't heard back from the Field Team yet. He quickly checked the status on the fences which read '92%' output.
He heard Sky order Olivia to return, but that was quickly drowned out by the sound of something...big, approaching in the air. "Holy shit!" Echoing the mother and daughter outside.
(Well she DID tell me to man the guns...) He brought up the commands for some of the hidden turrets on the grounds, to send a few missiles at the approaching dropship.

As they were prepping to leave the area. A device Matt had been given would vibrate silently in his pocket. It wasn’t a device he could ignore. Once he looked at it he would find it had simple instructions.
-Return to your home and watch the show. Do not intervene unless directed to do so.-
The message was plain. Do as your told. Who though would give instructions? Matt knew and that was his secret to share if he chose to share.

"CEASE FIRE!!!" Skye yelled into her microphone as she saw the incoming bodies. Her eyes widened as she countered those in view "1, 2...10...20...30...Are they..they're not..." she breathed heavily, reading their thoughts as they raced through her mind. It as a like a storm into her mind "Humans...what the hell..." she gasped.
Turning her face back to Olivia "OLIVIA! GET BACK NOW!" she commanded, louder than she had ever yelled before. She yelled with such a demand that Olivia shriveled with fear.
Skye then turned her eyes back to the compound "Ryuusei, cease fire or I will put you in the middle of this shit." she spoke as she turned back and walked forward. Thinking of every strategy that Jeff had taught her, she closed her eyes, trying to make sense of her thoughts while chaos erupted around her. Yes, Rhona had a human army; that was evident. They were her pawns in a never-ending war.
They were human, yes. Were they willingly fighting with R1K? Probably not. They were likely surviving the war; doing as they were told because she promised their survival. They had families living in the sticks and the only way out was to serve in this war.
Skye knew this. She knew every part of this war was unfair and killing no longer provided joy. It was work and endless processes that made work for everyone else. She enjoyed killing those that deserved it. These people didn't.When one mindlessly follows an order, there is now joy in killing. No, one got joy from killing someone that had a conviction; someone that had rule that they lived their life by. Someone that wanted to destroy those that were beneath them. Those people got joy from killing mutants. To them, mutants were at the bottom and they honestly believed that if the planet was rid of this error in DNA, that the world would be a better place...
The humans, or what was left of them, were not these people. And this is why Skye would feel terrible...
She kept her eyes closed as she silently raided the minds the of squad moving forth. Clenching her teeth as a slight pinch of pain entered her mind, the humans fell to their deaths.

(Shit!) He winced as the 'cease fire' order came in loud and clear, but at least this meant ONE frequency was still open. But it didn't erase the concern of why he hadn't gotten a response from Logan, or Angie or ANYONE else out in the field.
"Roger!" He replied after deactivating the turrets, something he really didn't want to do as he couldn't shake the feeling that those troops weren't the ONLY things onboard that dropship...

R1K wasn’t surprised when her first wave was wiped out. She took a moment to decided and saw she still had some of the old Sentinels in stock and they were actually deplorable. That was something she couldn’t pass up they were taking up valuable space and she could use it. Beside 10 three story talk Sentinels without adaptive programming and just basic combat algorithms. She sent them after Skye had finished and thought they were done. What an odd thing to think you’re done. You were done until she said so.
The launch didn’t take long as she had found out they were well maintained and they launched it wouldn’t be long before they were there so she might as well get ready to go. She signaled her pilot to drop them out of low orbit and she would drop onto the battlefield from 100 meters up.
Skye would hear them before she saw them. Their rockets would give them away and they would cut out at five meters off the ground. Older models of the Sentinels landed. It was only ten of them but they were starting to advance. She hadn’t even changed their speech programming. This was going to be good.
“Mongrels. Let’s go. I want her alive and forgoing that I want her in pieces. Let’s get ready. She will give us a fight.”
She grabbed her new toy that R&D had cooked up. She was about to test it in the field. They said it was good for the situations she would go into. She would find out soon enough.

Pyro snapped back as R1K entered. And he knew what he had to do. He looked back at the people a glare in his eye as the young girl and said "You think you can kill me? Let's see you try..." as he took control of some fire and got into position to throw it towards her,
